care

The reason you care about things is because you keep saying that you do.

Sometimes those sayings are backed by identities and thus hard to let go of. So I’m not necessarily advocating to drop all cares unless you’re on the eight-fold path. Maybe one day.

But for today, it’s worth asking yourself why do you care about something. Depending on how interlaced it is in your identity and conception of the world, you can easily drop it.

A need to eat? Don’t care.

Lonely? Don’t care. State otherwise.

Bored? Don’t care. State otherwise. Do something else.

Feeling like you don’t exist? Why is that a bad thing?

The solution isn’t outside, it is inside.

Most of our struggles – if not all of them – are engineered by ourselves.

All treasures wait within.
