co-evolution

If this was a week ago this’d be a longer post but since it’s today it’ll be a half or a third.

Nevertheless a recent essay read so highlighted how we’re in co-evolutionary loops, you and I. Interactions as moments to grow. If this is a relationship.

It’s funny how loosely referenced this was however many essays ago, hoping to evolve with you.

One part of the essay suggests that the weirdest and most individualistic had another fostering their colors – had another as the gardener to their horticulture. Another gave way to who they are today.

Well, this was quite romantic but also perhaps a little flabby – at least it seems. Instead of the gentle gardener the essayist depicted, perhaps it’d be a chemist wondering which leaf mixes most brightly. A landfiller maybe. Forming temporary plant unions to break down all buried plastic within.

Ah, do you think we’re growing together here? Probably not. Well, at least we’re growing individualistically, so it seems. On the off chance we are in a mutual loop, well at least we have one offer to our Rational God for these curbside colors; maybe if we’re lucky enough it’ll embed into the gutter concrete for a pretty entrance into the driveway and empty garage, empty home with the dust suspended in a mid-day ray. Rather than receding into the sewer depths for a clown to be.
