Dead To The Naïve

The phrase “God is dead” is a little misleading, don’t you think?

Just because we have to let go of the comfy and flawed morality we thought to define existence, doesn’t mean the Creator(s) can be tossed too. Why not have a creator that embraces an amoral world? “Be wise as serpents,” as the same “amoral” serpent that suggests to bite apples.

If you stop thinking about the Bigger Picture, if your only interest in The Changeless Origin is making sure the comfortable bubbles and rules we make are rubberstamped, then that’s missing the point.

Contemplating the Creator and this Game we’re in is one of the few ways to see clearly. What is the next move? The world is stranger if we don’t acknowledge the foundations of it. The embedded objectives, even if we think it ridiculous.

Adopting the world view that we’re teleported into this chaotic realm, with no reason, no rhyme, well that’s a dead end. You accept that you can’t jailbreak the system, or order it, or learn and take advantage of it, or finally see what’s beyond it.

To not seek the hidden law and designs within it, the next staircase for a layer higher, is to not seek the perfection we’re aching for. “Thou hast made us for thyself…” What if you knew how everyone ticked, and what they tick by? And the churning you’re used to, or the confusion and lack of solace found everywhere, in everything…

“Satori is infinite.”

We’re here to play the game, however it changes. Even if you finally get a handle of what the Masters’ can see, sit formless next to Buddha, resurrect with Jesus, however detachedly walking the city pavements and spreading the End of Suffering, some Good Word, I mean, that’s only the beginning.

It is merely step one. The very first step. The masters and their circle still devour one another; do you think there’s a save point being verified an angel? The stairs start circling in comical ways. There are, where we dwell, an infinite number of poles to ascend.

Ignoring all of that is to obscure the next thousand poles to vault and instead gawk that there’s a pole at all.
