While I still have it in mind, a thought I often entertain is the tree of decisions it’d take to unlock different worlds, new things, you.
Could I write in a way that feels familiar? Do I seem like a lost friend?
I wonder what you want to hear; which order of words with proper inflection and creased smiles would bring forth something new? Resolve everything? Will finally dislodge the rock in your throat after a bad day?
What order of words would leave the deepest impression?
It is a funny contrast, since if we assume there’s a proper order of words then we demolish things like ‘fate’ or ‘special’ – ‘happenstance’ and serendipity. Intrinsic quality to each entity. That the words exist outside of us!
But I don’t think that’s the case. It’s not just the words: it’s the whole aura you emit. It’s the entire essence of who you are.
Painting this site black or red, orange and blue, pink and white – each contributes to the (faux?)connection you may have with it.
This trail of thought is a little unproductive, because even if one could “crack the code” what would you do then?
Maybe one could stretch and hope that, through understanding others, you begin to understand yourself. Which may be the case. Maybe.
An ironic conclusion is that such understanding usually results silence.
