After thinking about it for awhile, the thought of supporting a forum and weaving itself into other websites sounds like a big obligation, and would make what was once a retreat into a burden. It would make maintaining this website dreadful.
That’s partially the motivation. The other motivation is that I don’t really want to pay for these things. If it was free, then sure, may as well leave it up. But having to pay for a server to maintain things I don’t actually want to maintain doesn’t sound like a great idea. So may as well be done with it.
In a way I’m glad no one actually weaved it into their website. Thank you! And thank you to those who encourage ever the same.
