obscure

It’s quite reassuring and ultimately calming for this to be an obscure part of the web.

Engagement comes with expectations. And such expectations may include some behavioral frameworks! So, without apology, this site will be gobbledygook. It may be a little purple in prose until you’re a flush rose reading. So be it!

It’s about experimentation. And it’s about bringing life into the world around you. There’s a thread knotted up and so here it unravels, all the senselessness that does come about. To get to the matter of things!

Such seriousness could involve more rigid mediums. Then one finally realizes the satisfaction of making a do-nothing website is part of the matter of things. The lax rigidness in publishing. Toying with a thought for a bit before moving on. Organized and yet the display may morph. Previous thoughts are a bit more finalized and that’s all, refer back when you wish.

There’s something strange about a note-taking app. A feeling that all the notes are the same, but they’re not! And rarely does one find a habit to revisit old feverish words.

So, ultimately, despite risk of engagement, the satisfaction of publishing in obscurity rules out keeping it local. Websites feel like a canvas to play with. The finality of “publishing” is sublime to those that think one may keep the site local. Why miss out on an official URL?

Because that’s what it is. It’s playing. I’ve no intention to “collect” bits and “facts” from others and link them all together, as if that is how one ought to understand the world. The world is better understood through playing! Engaged interaction with medium(s). The medium of the web is evermore interesting than any prospective note collection that adds up to little.

Full responsibility is taken of course. Responsibility on how most note-taking of mine resulted little. But if I have to stop playing, what’s the use? If it smushes the thread down into a strict collection of tired old “immutable” facts then why bother? Discovery is everywhere, always! Let’s not look down in paper, but above and around!

Let the organic nonsense breathe!

And so, in obscurity, may one find the warmest and most inviting of places. The ones you’ve been searching for all your life. Where it just clicks and you say:

“Ah, that’s what it was.”
