Times Square

Being the Florida man sometimes I wonder which parts of the states I’d vibe with the most. I’m sure you feel the same way, when you think about your position in the world — namely, it’s weird to not think of where you live as the center of everything.

I must admit this disposition is wavering, though ever so slightly; that, even if it is the center of the world in one’s mind, so there’s an aura when you see some photos elsewhere. Of course there are also photos where dreams go to die, like Paris.

I mean, usually you get the “unhinged” stamped on your forehead since media say so, but there’s an insanity lining in every cauldron of a municipality, varied between cornstalks. And I wouldn’t mind knowing how they’re like. Like something in Missouri.

I’m looking for some real Dragon Energy though if we’re gonna play such roles. I want some coldness and canned laughter — I’d think it’d be best to meet once every three years but incidentals keep coming up the same as college clubs. Dragons symbolize things you shouldn’t get involved with anyway.

Really though it’s not the people but something embedded, like in Times Square. It must feel nice to walk through Times Square — that is, it’s something that’s beyond the average joe, and it’s something you see in the newspaper, and then you wonder why you value the newspaper so much. Maybe you’d best make your own publications. Making your own landmarks, rather than virtual billboards, vacancy signs.

Maybe that’s what it’s all about anyway: just imbuing something more into things. Even if the kingdom is within; maybe with each step you expand your borders.

Make a new decree with some chalk in the sand.
